Not yet, but one day we hope to be!
We recommend allowing liquor to infuse for 2-5 days. Store bottle in a cool, dry place without direct sunlight and shake daily. The longer you allow it to infuse the more intense the flavor will be. For optimal flavor, we recommend not infusing longer than 5 days.
Yes, we recommend draining the ingredients before serving. By removing the ingredients you will end the infusion process. If you leave ingredients in too long, the flavor may get too intense and become less enjoyable. You also probably don’t want to consume the herbs whole for taste and health reasons.
You can use a strainer or the cap of the bottle to help hold back the ingredients as you drain the final infused liquid out of the bottle. With the liquid out of the bottle, remove ingredients. Once ingredients are removed, you can transfer the infused liquids back into the bottle until ready to serve.
We’ve done it both ways! If you will be serving soon, put it in the fridge so you can enjoy it chilled.
Products should be stored in a cool, dry environment.
We recommend making Salut up to 9 months after purchase. Check the “Best By” date on your bottle.
Because alcohol is a preservative, you should be able to keep your infused creation for up to a year. If it looks or smells off, dispose just to be safe.
Some of our ingredients may be packaged in the same facility as peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, soy and milk products.
We use ingredients that are preservative and additive-free. When we search for ingredients, we always opt for the organic, preservative and additive free options.
